The department of Mass Communication founded in 2005-2006. The department offers a three year B.A Mass communication Degree and 6 Semester B.A Mass communication and Journalism Program. The program offers a detailed study in Political Science and Creative Writing and Translation Studies.
The Program prepares the students to meet the current situation in mass media and industry with its structure of syllabi. The syllabus contain the study in Communication and Communication theories, Reporting and Editisng Practice, Advertising and its New trends , Photojournalism and also provide documentary Production as an elective Paper.

About the department
Department was founded in 2005 and first batch went out of the campus in 2008 with 100% result. Within five year of its existence, department could secure Two Ranks in University level in the second Batch. The third Batch also went out a high luminous result with high marks and percentage.
