Pazhassi Raja college, Pulpally-a first grade college affiliated to Calicut University was started by the Pazhassi Raja Educational Society .The Founder manager of the college is Sri.T.U.Jacob, who was the President of the Pazhassi Raja Educational Society .The college started functioning on the 20th October 1982 when Prof. O.Sooryanarayanan who came on deputation from the Government service assumed the charge of the Principal.

3. Rev. Fr. Mathew Baby C.M.I 2003 - 2009
4. Rev.Fr. Dr.Baby Sebastian 2009 - 2011
5. Dr. Varughese K. John 2011 Onwards
In the month of July 1992, the management of the college was transfered to the Catholic Diocese of  Bathery, under the Patronage of  His Grace Dr.Cyril Mar Baselios the then Bishop of  Bathery diocese and Rev.Fr.Varghese Maliekkal was the manager. After him Rev.Fr.Jacob Chundakkattu took over as the Manager of the college. After him Rev. Fr. Mathew Kandathil took over as the Manager of the college. After him Fr. Eldho Puthankandathil took over as the Manager of the college. At present Most Rev. Dr. Joseph Mar Thomas occupies the  position of the Manager. Now the college has grown in a tremendous way. Under the new management, the college is flying to better heights of glory and fame.
